Provenance and traceability fields
How CliniSearch responses keep source, section, and version context visible.
CliniSearch responses are designed to make the underlying guidance reviewable. Instead of returning a generic summary, the API surfaces where the recommendation comes from and how it should be interpreted.
Response structure
Responses include a concise answer plus a set of provenance fields that point back to the source guidance. These fields typically include the issuing body, guideline title, section context, and version reference, alongside the citations needed to verify the wording.
This structure supports clinical review, governance assurance, and audit trails without exposing internal implementation details.
Traceability in regulated environments
Traceability matters when guidance is used inside digital products. Provenance fields allow teams to show where information came from, which version was used, and how it was accessed.
